These terms apply to smartpickdesk.com (the site), which is operated by Smart Pick Desk. By reading or using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy and our Affiliate Disclosure; where those pages say something more specific, they apply to that subject.

What the site is

The site publishes guides that set out what software tools and products say about their own prices, plans, limits and refund rules, quoted from their official pages with the date we read them. The site is free to read. It has no accounts, and we do not sell anything on it ourselves.

Information, not advice

The guides are general information to help you read the official pages. They are not financial, legal, tax, business or professional advice, and they are not advice about your pet’s behaviour or health. They do not take your own situation into account. Before you sign up, buy, cancel or rely on a refund, read the company’s own current pages and terms, and ask the company or a qualified professional where the decision matters to you.

We have not used the products we write about, and each guide says so. A guide describes what a company publishes, not how its product performs.

Prices, dates and accuracy

Every fact on a guide carries the date on which we read the official page. Companies change their prices, plans and terms, sometimes without notice, so a figure that was right on that date may no longer be right when you read it. The price you are shown at checkout, and the terms you accept there, are the ones that apply to you.

We try hard to quote and calculate correctly, and our checks are described on How we check. Even so, we cannot promise that every page is complete, current or free of errors. Where a figure is our own arithmetic, the guide says so. If you find a mistake, please tell us and we will correct it and record the change on that page.

No promise of results

Nothing on the site is a prediction or a promise of what a tool or product will do for you, your list, your business or your income. Any decision you make after reading a guide is your own.

Links to other sites

Guides link to the official pages of the companies they describe, and to other sites where a guide quotes them. Those sites are run by others, and their own terms and privacy policies apply there. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their products or their availability.

Some links are affiliate links. They are marked (paid ad) next to the link, and a page that has one says so at the top. If you buy through one, the purchase is between you and the seller (or the seller’s retailer, where a page names one), on the seller’s terms. The programmes we are in are listed on the Affiliate Disclosure.

Product names and trademarks

Product and company names on the site belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products being described. Their use does not mean that a company endorses this site or its guides, or that we are partners of that company beyond any affiliate programme listed on the Affiliate Disclosure.

Our content

The text of the guides and the charts and diagrams on the site are our own work, drawn from our records. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back to the page it came from. Please do not copy whole pages or charts to another site, and do not present them as your own. Quotations from companies’ pages remain the words of those companies.

Responsibility

The site is provided as it is, without any warranty. To the extent the law that applies to you allows, Smart Pick Desk is not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any right that the law gives you and that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows the last update, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
