Home & DIY: plans and projects
Last updated 2026-09-30 · By Smart Pick Desk editors · How we check
This section covers products for building and fixing things at home, starting with collections of woodworking plans sold online. These products are usually sold from a single long sales page, paid for through a separate company, and followed by further offers after the first payment. That makes three questions harder to answer than they should be: what the first payment buys, what may be offered after it, and which refund terms apply.
Each guide here answers those questions from what the seller and the payment company publish, read on a stated date. We have not bought or used the products in this section, and each guide says so in the line under its title. We do not repeat customer quotes, counters or crossed-out prices from sales pages, because we cannot check them.
